In January 2023, Ibtikar Fire Proofing completed 12,000 m² of fire protection on the structural steel of Madar by Arada (Phase 2) in Sharjah, using Sherwin-Williams Phoenix 370-90 water-based intumescent paint.

Madar is a lifestyle destination with retail and leisure buildings, where the steel structure needed certified fire protection that could be overcoated with decorative finishes. The coating was applied by our trained crews to the manufacturer’s specification and verified with dry film thickness checks before handover to the main contractor.
